So far 2010 has been busy year for Miranda Cosgrove. Not only does she star in the incredibly popular “iCarly” on Nickelodeon, but she’s one of the highest paid teen actors on TV, and in February she became Neutrogena’s latest Brand Ambassador, following in the footsteps of other fabulous teen beauties like Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts. As if that wasn’t enough, this summer she’ll star opposite Steve Carell in the animated film, “Despicable Me”, as one of the orphans trying to stop the evil Gru (Carell) from stealing the moon! Oh yeah, did we mention she just released her first full-length album, “Sparks Fly”, which we’re thinking of calling a guilty pleasure for it’s super catchy songs about, what else, love?

In the video for the first single off her album, “Kissing U”, she sports a really fun, 80’s inspired look that looks effortless on her and very sassy, without trying to look too old or too cool. We’re really digging the off-the shoulder t-shirt paired with cuffed skinny jeans and sandals, and the t-shirt dress she’s wearing on the beach. And the song just reminds us of how amazing it is to be in love for the first time, and have that fluttery, cotton candy swirly feeling in our stomachs which makes us all giddy and giggly. “The whole song is about a first love, so I just wanted a fun video that had lots of different little moments with a guy”, Miranda says about the video.

What we love most Miranda is that despite her big time career, she seems like a normal, down-to-earth seventeen year-old (she recently had a birthday) who likes to wear jeans and a t-shirt when she’s not working the red carpet at an awards ceremony or premiere. She’s cute, fresh faced and we totally want to hang out with her and dish about boys, music, jeans and how funny it must have been to pretend to have an awful singing voice in “School of Rock”, even though she’s proven that she’s got a fantastic set of pipes. She’s exactly the type of girl other girls can look up to, and we’re all about that.

So, while we can’t say what’s next for this cool chick, we can say one thing: You rock, Miranda! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for you.

“Ugly Betty” fans will love to hear America Ferrara’s voice in the adorable animated film, How to Train Your Dragon. “As a teen, it was often tough to fit in,” “The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants” star acknowledged. “Aside from being an outsider and the dorkiness and the wanting to be accepted, I really related to my character, Astrid, in that I wanted to be great in some way.”

We’re guessing if America had the right jeans on, she would have felt much more confident!

“I was always the girl who when I was younger, played baseball with the boys,” America added. “I did not want to play softball, I wanted nothing to do with it. I wanted to play baseball with the guys and I wanted to be as good as them.”

Tomboyish-ness aside, America has gone on to be the ultimate cool geek and a great role model for even the girliest of girls. With this film she is definitely playing ball with the big boys. “I really wanted to do this film because it seemed like so much fun. I was super happy that now girls can go watch this movie and say, “I can train a frickin’ dragon too.” With the right pair of jeans on, America, you can do anything!

3. Shredded – Whether they’re skinny or boot cut, torn denim is here to stay. Keep this rocker look soft with a pretty blouse or a long thin cardigan.
4. Acid Wash – Splotchy or full on bleached out, acid washed jeans are sure to deliver an edgier look. This trend should be worn in a skinny jean style with a handful of chunky bracelets for some added funkiness.
5. Shades of Gray – They don’t just come blue anymore! Gray jeans are making a name for themselves with varying shades of steel, light gray, gunmetal… they look best with anything black and white on top.

Now that New Moon is finally available on DVD, we can get back to getting our Bella/Edward fix as much as we please. New to this edition of the Twilight Saga is the juicy role of Jane, played by Dakota Fanning. As a “newborn vampire,” Dakota’s Jane is both fierce and endearing, with scarlet red eyes, corn silk blond hair and a cunning vampire insight.

Dakota has been on our radar for a while now (I Am Sam at the age of 7!!!), but now at the ripe old age of 16, she has already earned herself some major fashion points with acid washed skinny jeans and casual style. Her red carpet choices are typically classic, a-line silhouettes mixed with lots of lace and pouf.

When off duty though, lately Dakota has been sporting an edgier look, rocking some serious acid-wash black jeans with army boots. This look can get a little tough, but Dakota manages to strike a balance, with that perfectly pale complexion and eternal baby face of hers.

The Grammys may have been last month, but these buzz-worthy pop stars certainly have style that lingers. As we jump forward into spring with lighter and brighter days, here’s what or favorite rockers are wearing!

Pink
When not donning daring costumes for her aerial performances (definitely the “high” point of the Grammys–pun intended!), Pink tends to keep things punk casual. This sassy songstress can often be spotted strutting around town in camo print pants and functional denim paired with studded belts. (We’re betting she would dig our Hardware embellishments…Pink has also been known to sport the occasional strapless denim dress——perhaps to show off those oh-so-toned arms!

Fergie
Fresh off the Black-Eyed Peas three (count ‘em!) Grammy wins, Fergie is rocking her signature funky fresh style with a little extra spring in the step. No doubt she loves to show off those gorge gams of hers, often stepping out in distressed dark-rinse denim and skinny jeans tucked into boots. From red to grey to white to purple, Fergie’s denim  preferences run the rainbow——quite fitting for such a colorful personality, doncha think?

Beyonce
Bootylicious Beyonce rarely dresses down, but diva-fied denim is her style choice du jour on those occasions that do call for cazh. When not serenading Obama or rocking Alanis covers at the Grammys, Beyonce prefers curve-hugging jeans often paired with lipstick-red pumps. She was also one of the first to embrace the jeggings trend, but we wouldn’t expect anything else from music’s resident trendsetter!

Another year of Oscars. We caught most of it but fav’ part was definitely Kristen Stewart and hunky Taylor Lautner on stage togehter. Kristen wore an amazing navy blue strapless dress that was simple and not too overstated. While Stewart is normally a jeans kind of girl (“I was a full blown tomboy when I was little,” Stewart told Allure magazine in a recent article.) we were impressed to see how she dresses up.

The look Stewart usually opts for is skinny jeans, flannel tops or cute tanks and Chucks. Maybe not unique, but the thing is you can tell she’s not trying to be anyone but herself, unlike many in young Hollywood. Tonight’s simple gown, while not her normal comfy cas loook, showed the world once again that she her own personal style, and it’s not dictated by the fashion police or TMZ. Way to rock the Oscars Kristen!
